My family went to take care of the arrangements today. It was stressful to say the least. The wake is on Wednesday and the funeral on Thursday. Right now I just kind of feel like I'm existing in some sort of void outside normal reality. I also feel exhausted - I've passed out after dinner both nights, and I'm about to pass out again.

I'm just glad that my brother has been around for this whole thing. He and his girlfriend have been handling most of the calling family, making the arrangements for the hall to have the reception in, etc.

We'll just have to get through this and move on to whatever is next from here. And I want to thank everyone who's sent me messages of support; I very, very much appreciate it. It helps to know that even while going through hell, I have people all over the world who are behind me.

I'm really sorry for your loss. Wish I could offer something more for you, to help you feel better. But I can't. Death is something impossible to explain, and to process. But it does gets better. Nothing will ever replace your father, but at least he's not suffering anymore, and that should be a comfort for all the people that's left behind after losing him. *hugs* Take care of yourself and your family, even if it's hard right now.

There's honestly no words of comfort i could provide you with and I'm truly sorry for that. All i can say is for you to keep climbing the rope even when it's ripping from the pressure. It's better to hang on than to give up and let go. If you give up, you'll never see the beauty of everything below. :)

I'm happy your brother and his girlfriend have been able to help out so well. It's more important than ever that you guys all have each other now and I hope you'll all get through this week as well as you can considering the circumstances.
