Summary: Mahiro has left behind his life as an aristocrat and the arranged marriage his family tried to force him into in order to be with the one he loves. But doubts are starting to creep in – will he fit into his new family, and did he do the right thing?
Notes: Kouki’s siblings and their friends were originally going to appear in What The Prank Led To, but I figured their appearance would detract from the main story of Mahiro’s evolution from stuffy aristocrat to independent free-thinker. This sequel was done to give them some face time (and set up other possible stories in the universe).

Summary: Mahiro's life seems to be on the upswing – his comedy career (as a member of My Dragon, the troupe sponsored by Prince Yo-ka) is burgeoning, and there's the promise of romance with Kouki, brother of Prince Toya's significant other. And then, Yo-ka discovers a shattering secret that could upend the lives of both Mahiro and the royal family.
Comments: This universe plays fast and loose with the ages of my characters' real-life counterparts – here, Mahiro is a year older than Yo-ka, who is a bit less than two years older than Toya. In reality, from what I can tell, Toya is the oldest, then Mahiro, then Yo-ka. (And, yes, the real Kurosaki Mahiro does suffer from the same eye condition his fictional counterpart does here. I normally don't like using musicians' real problems in my fics, except the vision problem is something Mahiro has been open about – he even wrote a song about it on their most recent full-length album.)
