Comments: For the September challenge at vkyaoi, which involved left-side guitarists (which was Sakito’s position in Nightmare), and for the Gags/Silence square of my Season of Kink card. The stripper sketch mentioned here was inspired by Saturday Night Live’s classic “Chippendale Dancer” skit, which featured Patrick Swayze and Chris Farley. Yomi and Sakito were said to have a not-exactly-smooth relationship, especially during the last days of Nightmare, hence their portrayal here. (See the end of the fic for another, spoileriffic note).

Summary: Ruiza wants to bring an old friend into the PSC Productions fold. Perpetual single guy Hiyori made a New Year’s wish last year for a boyfriend within the next 12 months – which hasn’t come true. But maybe the festive season has one more miracle in it that can help both of them . . .
Notes: I’ve been concentrating on the After Ever After series as of late, so this is my first Camera Eye since October – the longest gap ever between installments of the series. (And, yes, I kind of fell in love with this crack pairing doing the last AEA, so I decided to find a way to bring them into Camera Eye as well). Sakito and Ruiza do have somewhat of a real life connection, BTW, as Sakito has been a session musician for the solo projects of Ruiza’s bandmate Asagi.

Chapter: Sidestory to After Ever After: Snowglobe Wishes, takes place about three-quarters of the way through that story. It’s probably necessary to have read this fic to fully appreciate this one.

Summary: Before comedians Hiyori and Sakito started dating, Sakito made a film that was considered rather racy. Hiyori is about to see it for the first time – which may lead to a new stage in their relationship.
Comments: Written for Season of Kink’s Holiday Season of Kink challenge, which involves using at least three kinks from the community’s list in a single fic. The kinks I chose were Pictures/Video, Rimming/Licking and First Time. (By the way, most technology in the universe of A Sort of Fairy Tale/After Ever After is on par with the 1930s/1940s – around the time the move A Christmas Story takes place – hence the idea of watching a movie in someone’s home being a novelty).

Summary: All Hiyori ever wanted was to see the comedy troupe he worshipped as a teenager get together one more time. And then, he finds himself performing in a strange, small town that features a legend of a snowglobe that grants wishes . . .
Comments: Written for the December challenge at VK Yaoi, which involves remixing the plot of a Hallmark Christmas movie. The film I chose was called Snow Globe Wishes on the list of films used on the community (although it aired under the title Christmas in Evergreen). The name of the Hallmark-like town in this fic, BTW, is Evergreen in Japanese. (This fic will eventually have a companion smut fic, which I’ll be using for a different challenge).

( Hiyori had a very specific goal in mind for all his showbiz skills. )
