jrockyaoi's Summer Love Contest. I got an idea and started writing, then went back to the contest page to see how to go about posting a fic for the contest . . . and saw there's a maximum word limit of 4,500 words, which I hadn't noticed before. My fic is at about 6,800 and counting. Heh, heh, whoops. I guess I'm not going to be entering it in the contest.
I'm going to finish the fic (since I'm about three-quarters done) and post it, then try to come up with another story fitting the theme that's short enough to qualify by the contest deadline. (My existing fic really can't be cut down - the subject matter needs a longer story).
Oh, and the new GazettE and SCREW looks that were posted the past week? Oh, HELLZ yeah. GazettE's stylists especially outdid themselves in coming up with a look that was both traditional VK and very contemporary at the same time, and as for SCREW's . . . I was never the biggest fan of Byou's short-and-platinum-blond look for Xanadu, but the longer blond hair I very much approve of. (Going to miss Manabu's Konsui look, though, since the blond hair REALLY suited him).
