Mar. 30th, 2015 01:26 pmSCREW's new PV got posted to YouTube last night or early this morning, it seems, and I have to wait until I'm home from work to watch it. Argh.
I will admit that following the departure of Zayn Malik from One Direction, I looked at the appropriate Tumblr tag out of pure curiosity over the reactions. Some of the stuff I saw there was flat-out scary. The mourning and tributes I expected (along with the rumors of fan suicides). What I did NOT expect to see was the people obeying a #cut4zayn hashtag and putting photos of their self-injuries on Twitter (a couple of which got reproduced on Tumblr) - or the person on Instagram who claimed to be killing dogs in order to force him back into the band. Okay, even if it's trolls - which it very well might be - it's still disturbing. (And it also seems that people in Britain are requesting compassionate leave time to mourn their loss - thanks to![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

And meanwhile, the anime I was watching, Boueibu - otherwise known as The Magical Boy Show - came to an end last week, and I have to say, it was satisfying from beginning to end - really, really funny (the whole show is basically a parody of magical girl tropes) and yet with some genuinely cute and sweet moments, plus a huge, WTF? twist in the last episode. 10/10, would recommend and watch again. (Some fans have called it a better Sailor Moon reboot than Sailor Moon Crystal). I'm actually surprised that nobody has done fanart of The GazettE dressed as the characters from this show (or, for that matter, Diaura, since that fandom seems fond of crackish photomanips).
Plus, I've got a Camera Eye fic in the works, an an idea for my Give Kai Some Love challenge at![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
kai_pleasure - signups are still being accepted, by the way! The idea is that every participating person picks a different pairing involving Kai to write (my fic is going to be Yo-ka/Kai, since I decided to go with one I haven't written).
