Jan. 26th, 2014 11:31 pmHave a little fic for Ruki's birthday in the works, and also have another idea for the porn star AU series. Also thinking about what I'm doing for Valentine's Day this year, since V-day is, for me, a fic-writing holiday. I know a lot of people hate the day, but eh, I'm neutral about it. It's all a marketing ploy designed to get people to buy stuff in the winter, anyway.
And, hey, when we hit V-day, that means we'll be more than halfway through this miserable season - and around here, it's been miserable indeed. Snow, ice, bitter cold, repeat repeat repeat. It's annoying to me because I can't go walking in this crap - I can bundle up against moderate cold, but not 10 degrees F with a wind chill of negative 5. And even if it were in the 30s, the streets around me are so clotted with ice that walking would be dangerous. I will never be so glad to see spring arrive.
Oh, and something I'm curious about concerning fan club lives - I have a friend who's in Heresy and is planning to go to Japan later this year. The two friends going with her are not in the club. Do they check club credentials at the door for all audience members? Or can a Heresy member buy tickets for non-members? Something to know if I make the trip myself, and/or if Club Alice and Siesta start letting in international fans as well.
