Jun. 26th, 2013 01:17 pmYAY, it's MELT release day! Also, fuck yeah Supreme Court! Now, if only I could get an official dismissal (or at least postponement) of my jury summons today, this day will be great all the way around!
I found out I have a double dutch of goodies on my way. I'd placed an order for SCREW's Go Into High Gear live DVD (the normal type, but latecomers to the fandom can't be picky). CD Japan sent me back a notice saying it would take several weeks to fill it (which, for me, has usually, ultimately meant getting a message several weeks later saying, "Whoops, we listed this on our site even though it's completely out of print now. Our bad!" This is why I usually go through CD Japan for new releases and YesAsia for older stuff - except the SCREW DVD was SOLO OUT on YesAsia).
Well, the day after they sent me the shipping notice for MELT, they sent me another shipping notice saying that Go Into High Gear had been shipped as well. YAY for having both of them arrive together! (I may be a bit busy this weekend.)
And, yes, I'm going to have another fanfic in the works very soon. All I will say about it is that it revolves around an event from a couple of years ago and it will be released on a specific day next week.
I can't wait to see the AoiRuki kiss in MELT. Finally, a couple I ship gets some real fanservice! (Apparently, from what I've heard on Tumblr, the kiss has caused distress among some super-fanatical Aoiha/Reituki fans. All the Ruki/Uruha fanservice we've had in the past went by without incident, but AoiRuki freaks people out? I'd say nipple-grabbing was more intimate than a brief smooch).
