THE NEW KRA ALBUM IS AMAZING. INCREDIBLE. FANTASTIC. EVERYONE HAS TO GO TO CD JAPAN AND GET THIS ALBUM NOW.

Seriously, NaoToru was worth the wait. (And wait. And wait.) It's the classic Kra sound taken in a new direction. Other than the two songs the PVs were done for, my favorites are Schwarz Wald and Niji wo Koete. No Pain No Gain surprised me with how very heavy it was - when it came on, my first reaction was, "Eeehhh? Did I accidentally switch to GazettE?" (checks iPod). Seriously, it sounds like one of their thrash anthems like Discharge or Psychopath.

And I LOVE THE PV! Ha, a friend and I are always joking about wanting a pocket Keiyuu. This video literally delivered one! When I passed a snowglobe display in Target today, I was thinking that I want the Taizo snowglobe in the PV. I wish they had subtitles for the making-of segment at the end, where they were all writing stuff down (I guess what Kra meant to them).

Also, totally in another fandom, this GazettE fic is one of the most amazing pieces of fanfiction I have read in years. It explores the relationship between Aoi and Ruki in the wake of Aoi's Nagoya meltdown in a way that's unvarnished and unsentimental - in fact, the sex scene is quite rough - and yet, it manages to convey tons of love. It's a very human story, and my hat is way off to the author.

I'm developing my own idea for a post-Nagoya story, which is going to be very different (it's as much about the friendship between Aoi and Hiroto as it is about romance). It's going to be the usual Stargazer mix of fluff, smut and humor, with a bit of angst (my plan calls for it to include a flashback to the days when Hiroto was pining for Shou and Shou was in denial of his feelings for Hiroto).

Oh, and while I'm on the subject of GazettE fan creativity? CUTEST. FANART. EVER.
