Arashi was basically an opportunist who took the wrong opportunity. Ruiza was definitely good-hearted in trying to set his life straight - unfortunately, I don't think either of them quite knew just how deep the doo-doo would get from Arashi's involvement with a politician. (Not that Okuno was in politics yet when the affair happened.) And, of course, the media WOULD happen to jump all over this as Scandal of the Year just in time for the JAVAs. We're definitely going to see how that is affected!
