Mahiro and Junji are an example of a couple who was meant to be from the get-go, it just took them a little while to realize the full depth of their feelings for each other. (And Junji is damn perfect. Mahiro is a lucky guy).
Hard Candy is pretty much an example of the industry at its worst - corrupt, mobbed-up and Teflon-coated when it comes to the law and their infractions. Definitely not a place for upstanding young men to have a career! (Or, rather, flat-on-their-backs young men, given how they make a living. ~_^) I figured the dark side of the industry definitely needed to be portrayed, since Uruha is an example of the industry at its best. (And funny you should mention Kobe . . .)
Koichi may have had the idea for the pink hair about ten minutes before Yuuki did - but then there's the matter of who actually hit the dye pots first! Which is definitely up for debate. (I'd say they hit the salons within five minutes of each other!)
