Ha, thank you! I actually worked in newspapers for several years, so believe me - I know firsthand how clueless they can be. This is especially true when it's a general reporter who's been assigned to a specialty beat (like in this fic). When I was working for a travel agent publication, I would go to a lot of cruise industry press conferences where the general reporters obviously knew zip about the business (and did no research), and they'd ask questions that would make the travel press and the cruise people facepalm.
