The saddest thing about it is that Kouki is giving up people and a career he truly LOVES, the place where he really belongs, his true calling . . . out of family duty. Yes, I know it's a cultural thing and his business has probably existed for hundreds of years and running it is probably considered an honor, but still, it's sad. I'm going to renew my hopes for an 11th-hour rescue, unrealistic as they are.
Ah, well, in fanfiction universes, he can always be there! (I haven't decided whether I'm bringing the rest of the band into The Camera Eye or not - if they're in, they'll be from another indie porn company acquired by PSC Productions). Just like the members of Alice Nine will still be with PSC Productions, despite Alice Nine leaving PSC. (Which is for the best for them - PSC really has not done a good job in marketing them as of late - but I'm still going to miss them being "part of the gang.")
I haven't seen the thing where Kouki tries to get Minase out of the bathroom! It must be hilarious. I have seen the video with Kouki scaring his bandmates with rubber bugs, though (which is why that ended up in this fic!)
