Argh, I have to wait until I'm home from work to watch the Fadeless preview! But the photos! MY GOD! That picture with Kai stretched out seductively on the bed . . . I nearly fell face-first on my desk. (Yes, nosebleeding everywhere would be VERY unprofessional). What IS it with that boy lately? First the Melt pornphlet, then the Shoxx shoot with the orgasm picture (complete with white splatters on the page!) and now this. Not that I'm exactly complaining. Oh, HELL no. Whatever they're putting in his water as of late, I hope they give him gallons of it.

And meanwhile, we have a couple of damn scary stories of fangirl behavior: OneDirection fans threatening GQ staffers (American GQ staffers over an article that was posted on the British GQ site, yet) and a certain group of Korean Kpop fans who stalk their favorite bands to the point of invading their homes. Um, people? This is the sort of thing that gives ALL fans a bad name - and, as seen above, it's also the kind of thing that the mainstream media pays attention to, not the side of fandom that's about things like creativity and friendships. Stop, please.

That stuff is flat-out terrifying. And what I want to know is, aren't the Korean authorities giving these artists any kind of protection? I mean, they know they have all kinds of batshit insane fans, and that there's been, in some cases, specific threats. Why aren't they increasing the security for these performers? (And I can only imagine how the nice, normal, sane Kpop fans feel about these people. I headdesk enough whenever the GazettE fandom breaks out in loud and public wank).

You know, that's a good question, actually... Then again, one of my friends is currently a teacher over there and she'll often complain about the lack of child protection services and animal rights, so I'm not sure if much can be expected in the form of help. :/ (God yes! O__O This is why I prefer to be on the edge of fandoms most of them. XD In them enough to enjoy myself and make a few friends, but not enough to really get involved in any drama.)
