Came across an article in Japan Times about the actual Japanese porn industry (the subject of my Camera Eye series). The article just covered straight porn, not gay porn like my series, but it was very interesting indeed - it seems that male talent in straight porn is considered pretty much human props. They get paid very little (meaning "gay for pay" is probably A Thing even more in Japanese porn than American) - in fact, there's some guys who work for free or even pay to be in videos. They crank out videos even faster than the crew in my fanfic series - but they still manage to have at least some story in their vids. And there's definitely a few details here that are going to be making it into my series. Oh, and the article mentions a FEMALE porn star named Aoi. XD (I've also heard of a real-life gay porn star called Shou).
