I swear my fanfiction worlds contain dozens of island nations off Japan. The entire Sea of Japan is crowded with these islands. Veekay and its offshoots, the nameless-until-the-end-of-the-fic nation ruled by the Beast, now Yasaka . . . I thought Yasaka's status as a country that fled tyranny only to fall into tyranny itself was ironic as hell. (And their tyrants are kinda dumb because they've yet to fully figure out the connection between the pirate radio stations and the rebel groups. Hence why they let the stations keep broadcasting as long as they're outside Yasaka's territorial waters.)

The threesome was something that was as much a part of Junji's destiny as him saving the radio station - that very well might have been as much a part of his mission as changing the tides to cover the sand bar. They definitely have the potential to develop into a lifelong commitment. And, hey, since it looks like there will probably be more from this ficverse, we'll see where it goes from here.
