I couldn't resist the cameos by Yuuki and Koichi. The two of them have a long-standing dispute as to who had the idea of the pink hair first - well, now Mahiro can testify that they had it within minutes of each other! (And then they will argue over who was the first to actually dip into the dye pots . . .)

It was an awful experience for poor Mahiro, all right - especially coming on the heels of his bad experiences in the horror industry, where he ended up being told he was too short to be a hero! But it did have a very silver lining (in more ways than one - the award brought him to the full attention of the industry as a whole).

I absolutely adore that picture of Mahiro and Junji - soon as I saw it on Tumblr, I knew I wanted to ship them. (That was just compounded by a gifset of Junji carrying Mahiro in his arms at the end of a live!)
