Odd indeed - I'm actually surprised they didn't borrow the concept and replace the J-rockers with One Direction. Of course, they were probably thinking fans of otome games would play it regardless - one person on Tumblr said she got into J-rock because she played the game and then only found out afterward that Royz was a real band!
